In this note, you will find all the information you need with regards to the registration and hotel accommodation for the reunion, as well as cancellation.

1. REGISTRATION

 

Who Can Attend the Reunion

All interested people can attend the reunion upon having registered.

The registration for the reunion is open to SUTA members only. If you are a SUTA member and wish to register for the reunion, please see the section “Online Registration” below for details.

If you are not a SUTA member and wish to attend the reunion, please review the SUTA membership types and requirements here:

If you can meet the requirements for any of the SUTA membership types, please apply for membership. Once your membership is validated, you may follow the procedures outlined in the section “Online Registration” below to register for the reunion.

In case you cannot become a SUTA member, you may ask one of our members to register you for the reunion.

 Registration Fees :

The first numbers are in US $ and numbers in parentheses are for those who register and pay in Iran.

Regular Member: $250 (Rials 2,300,000)
Spouse $230 (Rials 2,150,000)

Child over 12: $230 (Rials 2,150,000)

Child 2-12: $120 (Rials 1,100,000)

Child under 2: Free

Full time Student Member: $130 (Rials 1,200,000) (Student ID required at the door).
Full time Student Spouse: $150 (Rials 1,400,000)

Non-member: $300 (Rials 2,800,000)

 

Fee for Attending Gala Dinner Only:
$80 / person (Rials 740,000)

Reunion Registration Fee Will Cover:

  • All conferences
  • Reception on Friday
  • Lunch on Saturday
  • Gala Dinner on Saturday Night
  • Lunch on Sunday
  • Coffee Breaks

Online Registration

You may conveniently register for the 2008 SUTA Reunion online. Payments are accepted by check card and credit card (Visa and MasterCard). A secure server handles all the reunion registration information, including the 0credit card processing.

Online payment is the preferred method of payment as it reduces the logistical work for the reunion organizers. If however it is not possible for you to use this method, you may use the following alternatives:

You will receive a confirmation email, in the email account available on your profile in the SUTA database, immediately after successful completion of your online registration.

 

2. HOTEL ACCOMMODATION

3. VISA AND INVITATION LETTERS

 

Members who need a letter of invitation in order to apply for an entry visa to Canada may request one between March 15 and May 9, 2008 . To request an invitation letter, simply check the corresponding box in the online reunion registration form. The Board will issue invitation letters upon validation of the received registration forms . The invitation letter will be issued only to a member, his or her spouse and their children who plan to attend the reunion. The invitation letter will be in the form of a reunion registration confirmation on a SUTA letterhead, which also contains necessary information about SUTA and the reunion.

4. REUNION REGISTRATION REFUND POLICY

 

Cancellation requests for the reunion registration must be submitted by email to suta.bod@suta.org. Please note that refunds, if considered, will be issued in the same format as the payment was received. All cancellations will be processed and refunds distributed after the end of the reunion.

For registration cancellation requests received on or before June 1, 2008, the full registration fee will be refunded. For registration cancellation requests received after June 1, 2008, no refund will be made except in special cases and with the Board of Directors’ approval.

 

5. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE REGISTRATION

 

In order to register for the 2008 SUTA Reunion, you will be required to agree to the following SUTA Liability Waiver and Publicity Release:

I, as a SUTA Reunion/Conference participant, agree and acknowledge that I am undertaking such participation in SUTA events and activities of my own free will. I hereby assume all risks of personal injury and/or other loss or damage arising out of or in any way associated with my participation in the SUTA Reunion 2008 . I release to the fullest extent permitted by law, SUTA and any of its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, contractors, agents or other representatives, successors, assigns, and all others acting on their behalf (collectively referred to herein as the "Released Parties") from any and all responsibilities, claims, expenses, personal injury, wrongful death or liability for injuries or damages of any kind resulting from or in any way arising out of my participation in the SUTA Reunion 2008 . I also agree to hold the Released Parties harmless against any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action, losses, damages, and expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees and costs incurred in defending such claims directly or indirectly resulting from, or in any way arising out of or related to my participation in the SUTA Reunion2008 . I acknowledge that my participation in the SUTA Reunion 2008 is expressly conditioned on my agreeing to the foregoing.


I acknowledge that at times during the SUTA Reunion 2008, sessions will be presented before a live audience and SUTA may web-cast, videotape, audio-tape, photograph, record or broadcast the SUTA Reunion 2008 or various aspects of the SUTA Reunion 2008. I hereby grant full permission to SUTA to use any photograph, videotape, audiotape, motion picture, or any other similar recording or broadcast of the SUTA Reunion 2008 including my name and likeness for any SUTA business purpose.
