Renewable Energy

The surging energy prices, particularly for oil and gas, have provided a keen motivation in the market to look for alternative renewable energy sources. Environmental considerations are another motivation why clean (or cleaner) energy sources are well sought. The 2008 SUTA reunion theme has thus been established as renewable energy. This is a well suited theme also given the location of our reunion, Vancouver. Vancouver academic and business community are among the pioneers of the alternative energy sectors and sustainable energy sources.
