TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of SUTA’s website, services, programs, and digital resources. By accessing or using our platforms, you agree to comply with these terms, which are designed to ensure a safe, transparent, and respectful experience for all members, volunteers, donors, and visitors.

Membership Terms

According to Article 4, Section 3 of the SUTA Bylaws

The following Membership Terms are established in accordance with Article 4, Section 3 of the SUTA Bylaws. All members are expected to understand and comply with these requirements throughout the duration of their membership.


Membership Terms

  1. Members shall:
    1. Abide by the Association Bylaws and Policies including, but not limited to, the Association’s Code of Conduct, Conflict of Interest Policy, and Confidentiality Statement.
    2. Pay all membership fees when due.
  2. Membership shall be valid for a one-year term and may be renewed annually upon payment of the applicable membership dues.
  3. Membership fees must be paid to a registered or approved account of the Association or one of its Chapters.
  4. By accepting membership in the Association, members consent to allowing other members to view their first name, last name, and email address.
  5. All members have equal rights and obligations.
  6. Membership is limited to individuals only.
  7. The Board of Directors (BOD) has the authority to issue disciplinary actions, including but not limited to warnings, suspension, or expulsion of any member who violates the Association Bylaws, Code of Conduct, Conflict of Interest and Confidentiality Statement Policy, Membership Terms, or who misuses the Association’s membership information for personal benefit or the benefit of others without the Association’s express written consent.
  8. Any disciplinary decision shall be reported immediately in writing to the Association Compliance Board and presented at the next Annual General Assembly (AGA) for confirmation.
  9. If a member fails to pay the required membership fee, their membership will automatically be suspended effective on the date the account becomes past due. The suspension shall remain in effect until the member renews their membership.
