SUTA Washington Committee invites you to its first gathering at the University of Maryland
When
May 11, 2013
16:30 - 18:30
Location
University of Maryland, College Park, Lecture Hall (Kim Bldg # 1110), 1st Floor
Sharif University of Technology Association (SUTA) is a global organization formed in 2000 to facilitate communication and collaboration among the graduates, faculty and staff of the Sharif University of Technology (SUT) (formerly Aryamehr University of Technology). Since then, SUTA has been able to bridge the gap between more than 1200 SUT graduates mostly living outside Iran. SUTA is structured around regional groups of SUT graduates. Currently, there are 15 of these chapters all around the globe.
Washington DC Metropolitan area is the home for a considerable number of educated, talented, and hard working SUT graduates, most of them are industrially, academically, or even politically recognized. Despite this fact, we have not had a SUTA chapter in this area as yet.
To this end, we would like to invite those of you at this vicinity to a gathering on
May 11 2013, 4:30 to 6:30 pm, at University of Maryland, College Park, Lecture Hall (Kim Bldg #1110), 1st Floor,
to establish SUTA chapter in the Greater Washington DC, define the mission, elect the officers including the Board of Directors, President, etc., and create the initial schedule of events.
Your attendance in this meeting would certainly help creating a stronger, and effective network of Sharif graduates. We encourage you to notify us about your attendance by sending an email to
info@SUTAWashington.org or
simply going to the following site to RSVP directly.
