Dr. Gina Cody, a distinguished Sharif University graduate and trailblazer in engineering, delivered an inspiring keynote at the SUTA Reunion 2024. The first woman in Canada to earn a PhD in building engineering, Gina has led a remarkable career, including steering a national engineering firm to success and serving on prominent boards.
Now a celebrated advocate for women and immigrants in STEM, Gina's legacy also includes a $15-million donation to Concordia University, resulting in the renaming of its engineering faculty to the Gina Cody School of Engineering and Computer Science.
