SUTA Southern California was honored to recognize 3 outstanding Sharif graduates as part of Apsih 's 20th Annual Academic Achievement Awards ceremony honoring academic achievements by students of Iranian heritage who will be graduating in the 2016/2017 academic year.
This event was held on Sunday 5/14/2017 in UCLA and more information about the event can be found in the event's webpage.
This year SUTA SoCal provided three awards to graduates who have a previous degree from Sharif:
- Hana Davoudi, PhD in Mechanical Engineering from USC.
- Reza Takapoui, PhD in Electrical Engineering from Stanford.
- Amir Safaripour, PhD in Electrical Eng. from Caltech.
This year's SUTA SoCal awards were sponsored by Alami, Farsai, Fatehi, Hatamian, Hojabri, Rad, Tabandeh and Zaimi families (alphabetical order). We congratulate these young scholars and all students graduating this year.
